WHY WORKING GROUPS?
Our aim is to make the Distillery Labs a collaborative community effort. By gathering input in an organized and intentional way, we believe that people from all walks of life and corners of our region will remain at the center of everything that we do.

PROGRAMMING
Examining appropriate programming opportunities for Distillery Lab members, partners, and the broader community. This group will examine current gaps in programming and how to enhance / leverage current available programming in the community.
COMMUNITY
Extending the reach of Distillery Labs externally -- to interface with existing and future entrepreneurs, as well as other organizations and stakeholders within the community.
Finding / identifying partners, listening and amplifying the message of key stakeholders and partners throughout the launch process and building relationships with diverse organizations and individuals that will increase Distillery Labs chances for success.
BUILDING & SPACE
Organizing and recommending the plans that will fuel the development of the physical space and ensure that it is able to meet its intended purposes and the needs of the community / stakeholders.
Examining physical designs for the space as well as considering and engaging in the relationship between the physical site and the surrounding neighborhood
Engagement & Operations
Developing an operating model for the Hub, including looking at utilization of space and overall financial sustainability. This group will also look at how the Peoria Innovation Hub would engage with local corporate partners as well as the larger Illinois Innovation Network, including other Hubs and Discovery Partners Institute.
